Form Builder - Auto Save

We’re excited to introduce Auto Save, a new feature designed to make form building even more seamless and worry-free. With Auto Save, your work is instantly saved as you make changes—no need to manually click the Save button. This ensures that you never lose progress, helping you stay focused and efficient while building your forms.

Benefits

  • 🕒 Instant Saving – Any changes you make are automatically saved in real time.

  • 🔄 Reduced Risk of Data Loss – Never worry about losing unsaved progress if you navigate away or close your tab.

  • Streamlined Workflow – No need to repeatedly hit the Save button; focus on designing your form.

  • Clear Save Status – A timestamp next to the Auto Save toggle shows you when the last save occurred.

  • 🔒 Prevents Unnecessary Saves – The Save button is disabled when Auto Save has already captured all changes.

Things to Know

  • Per-Form, Per-User Control – Auto Save is enabled on a per-form, per-user basis, giving flexibility based on your preferences.

  • How It Works – Auto Save detects your mouse movements. As soon as you move your mouse away from the field or setting you were editing, an instant save is triggered.

  • Applies to All Key Areas – Auto Save is active in the Settings, Build, and Style tabs, ensuring all your work is automatically saved.

  • Visible Save Status – A timestamp appears next to the Auto Save toggle, letting you know exactly when your last save occurred.

  • Save Button Behavior – When Auto Save has successfully saved your changes and there’s nothing left to save, the Save button will be disabled to prevent unnecessary clicks.

With Auto Save, you can build your forms with confidence, knowing that every change is automatically saved without extra steps. Try it out and experience a smoother, more efficient form-building process!
