Email – Web Tracking String Parameter Definitions

Available Web Tracking String parameters:

  • Brand Alternate ID: Uses the brands abbreviated brand name as an identifier. (i.e. ACME)

  • Brand Name: Uses the full brand name as an identifier. (i.e. Acme Inc)

  • Customer ID: Uses the customer’s ID that clicked the link from your Omeda database as an identifier. (i.e. 9876543)

  • Deployment Designation Name: Uses the designation from the deployment type that the email deployment was sent from as an identifier. (i.e. Newsletter, Webinar, Third Party, etc.)

  • Deployment Designation Name Abbrev: Uses a abbreviated version of the designation from the deployment type that the email deployment was sent from as an identifier. (i.e. News)

  • Deployment Promocode: Uses the value in the Campaign ID field. This is found in the Deployment Summary pleat of the email. (i.e. Holiday2011)

  • Deployment Sent Date: Uses the date the deployment was sent as an identifier. (i.e. 20110821)

  • Deployment Sent Time: Uses the time that the deployment was sent as an identifier, expressed as a 24 hour clock (i.e. 0630)

  • Deployment Tracking Number: Uses the Track id of the deployment as an identifier. (i.e. ACME110821002)

  • Deployment Type Name: Uses the Deployment Type name as an identifier. (i.e. Acme Daily)

  • Encrypted Customer ID: Uses the encrypted version of the customer’s id that clicked the link from your Omeda database. (i.e. VH9RMDLU5H79UOI)

  • Link Sequence Number: Uses that link’s sequence number, which is determined by where in the content it shows up, as an identifier. (i.e. 15)

  • Link Tracking Category: Uses that link’s category as an identifier. (i.e. Advertising, Editorial, etc.)

  • Link Tracking Category Abbrev: Uses an abbreviated version of that link’s category as an identifier. (i.e. Ad)

  • Link Tracking Keyword: Uses that link’s link tracking keyword as an identifier. (i.e. Doubleclick)

  • Message Type: Uses the message type of the email as an identifier. (i.e. HTML… or Text)

  • Split ID: Uses the Split ID of the email as an identifier. (i.e. 02)

  • Constant: Use this to create a custom identifier.
